Desoto Speedway didn’t go quite as planned.
I really like running at Desoto Speedway, so this was a race I was looking forward to. Plus I wanted to put Lake City behind me, so this was my chance.
Well, long story short, the #81 car was fast Saturday night, but I got ran over in the heat race. This cut the left rear tire down. This means I had to start in the back for the feature. Not a huge problem, and I made it up to 9th and the engine started over heating.
Bad.
So I had to call it a night. But after busting my butt in the shop all week, it sorta paid off because I was running well while it lasted. I would like to give a special thanks to my father-in-law and B-Dawg for the help.
